  • Linda Fletcher might have had a promising career as a TV presenter, instead, after recording a truly appalling version of the Joe South classic "Hush" which had been covered so masterfully by Deep Purple, she recorded this song then vanished into obscurity. Written by Marty Kristian of The New Seekers, and produced by Tony Hiller, it was released by The Rocket Record Company in 1978 backed by "Star," and never troubled the chart. >>>
