  • In 1970 Linda Perhacs released an album called Parallelograms. It didn't sell at the time but developed a cult following. 44 years later, Perhacs finally released record number two, The Soul of all Natural Things, making for the longest gap ever between album releases. "The atmosphere today is so much freer," explained the singer to NME. "That's what made me come back."
  • Perhacs told Mojo magazine the story behind the album's title track: "This is a song that could only have been written in the 70s," she said. "It comes from a time when I saw something in the sky and I knew it was music."

    Perhacs went on to explain that she literally transcribed the music from this vision to create the song,
