Songfacts®:

  • This was released as Irish Indie-Rock band Little Green Cars' first single. LGC member Stevie Appleby told The Sun the story behind this song: "I went to a bar with my brother met a girl and fell head over heels in love with her. She was this very right wing Christian American and she did not like me at all. For some reason, because she was so American, it struck me there is a similarity between the ruthlessness of the Wild West and a modern love affair."
