Songfacts®:

  • This is the first single from Little Mix's second album, Salute. The song premiered on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 breakfast show on September 23, 2013 and was released on iTunes on November 3, 2013.
  • The song is a blend of bubblegum pop and cowbell-jangling funk. Little Mix admitted to Digital Spy that they took a risk with releasing this as Salute's lead single. Jade Thirlwall said: "It's so quirky and different - I'd definitely say we've gone a bit cooler with this one. I love the structure of it - it's so different that it means you have to listen to it a few times to get your head around it."

Bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: "I don't think we'd be Little Mix if we didn't take a risk. When 'Wings' came out there was nothing else like it at the time - it was something a bit different - and we like doing that. It's about finding our sound and having fun with it."
  • This was selected as the best British pop single of the last twelve months in October 2014 by the panel of Pop Justice's Twenty Quid Music Prize.
