Songfacts®:

  • A native of the Bronx section of New York City, Lonnie Gordon is better-known in the international market than in her native country. She had several hits on the Club Dance Charts throughout the 1990's, some of which made an impression on mainstream audiences. This is one of her better-remembered hits. It was featured in the laughable Vanilla Ice film Cool As Ice, and, according to many, her song was the only good thing in the entire movie. Her career wasn't harmed by the failure of the film, which is more than can be said for its star. >>>
