Songfacts®:

  • This song describes a house party gone right. "It's a party song, but it has a cool, laid-back feel," Love and Theft's Eric Gunderson said. "A few people I've talked to at country radio recently said there's a lot of stuff on the radio right now that sounds the same, and this is very fresh, and it's a different take on a song that a lot of people are tryin' to put out. So, we're excited about it."
  • Gunderson and his Love & Theft partner Stephen Barker Liles called in some colleagues to help out on the hook. "This is the first time we've ever had a party song at radio, but playing clubs all these years, we've had a few of these nights where you lose track of time celebrating," Liles explained. "We had a blast recording the song, and some of the RCA promotion staff joined us in the studio and sang on the chorus, and it's cool to have the people working the song singing on it."
  • We see Gunderson and Liles throw a party in the music video. Several other several country music artists join in the bash – look out for Parmalee, JT Hodges, Joel Crouse and Maggie Rose.
