Songfacts®:

  • Lucy Rose explained her thoughts on this song to Bandwagon: "It made me think about how we all see ourselves, when we look at a photo, maybe we never appreciate ourselves and think, 'Oh, I am lovely.' I thought maybe I could embrace myself slightly more."
  • The video is about an elderly woman recalling her younger days bicycling round the Lake District. The clip, which stars Olympic Gold Medal-winning cyclist Elinor Barker, was inspired by a conversation Lucy Rose had with a senior family member who was talking about an old photograph of herself. The singer said it made her realise that she should: "Love myself for who I am and not wish to be anything different."
