Songfacts®:

  • On December 20, 2016 Luis Fonsi and his wife, Spanish model Águeda López, welcomed their son Rocco into this world. The Puerto Rican singer wrote this song with Vida producers Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres for his baby boy.
  • The song title translates into English as "There You Are."
  • Rocco has an older sister, Mikaela, who was born in 2011. Fonsi's previous album, 8, included "Llegaste Tú," a song he dedicated to his daughter.
  • Fonsi told Billboard the story of the song:

"Andres and Mauricio flew down here to Miami and spent a lot of time here, in my house and my studio, writing, working, and they lived all of this with me. My wife's pregnancy, his birth. We were all sort of very emotional and positively inspired by his birth, and we're songwriters. How can you not write a song about this?"
