    The Rag Trade was a TV series set in a small clothing workshop and screened originally 1961-3; by 1977, Lynsey had already won her second Ivor Novello Award, this one for the theme song to the series No Honestly, so it wasn't entirely unexpected that she would be commissioned to write this one when the series was revived that year. >>
