Songfacts®:

  • This song about a woman who has experienced a loss in her life was written by Dave Berg, Deanna Bryant and Candy Cameron. Released as the second single from Cut to Impress, it peaked at #46 on the Country chart.
  • The heartbroken woman in the song resorts to things that she is not necessarily proud of, in order to make her feel better. Rose told American Songwriter magazine the tune has resonated with many of her fans. "It was overwhelming to hear these stories of loss and struggle from strangers but it was so beautiful at the same time to know that the message in that song carried so far and touched so many people," she said.

"I chose to cut that song because upon my first listen I reared up," Rose added. "Maybe it was something going on in my life at that time that made it more poignant but I knew that I wanted to share that relatable feeling with other people in my music. That's what it's all about."
