Songfacts®:

  • "Felices Los 4" is the lead single from Maluma's third studio album, X. The Colombian singer penned the reggaetón track with Servando Primera ("Duele el corazón"), Mario Cáceres and Miky La Sensa.
  • The song title loosely translates as "happy the four of us" and is about a foursome relationship. Maluma is suggesting such an association to the girl, confident in the knowledge that if she goes off with someone else, she will return to him. It's better, he feels, that they should all have fun together.
  • The song was produced by Los Rude Boyz, who also helmed Maluma's hit collaboration with Shakira, "Chantaje."
  • The Jessy Terrero-directed music video portrays follows a love triangle between Maluma, a married woman portrayed by actress and model Natalia Barulich and her husband, played by Hollywood actor Wilmer Valderrama. The visual received a Vevo certification on May 5, 2017, due to the clip being the most watched Latin video worldwide within its first 24 hours.
