  • John Wozniak of Marcy Playground told us that this was the darkest song he's ever written, and it reflects what he was feeling at the time. Said Wozniak: "My head was really close to being blown off. I was exceedingly depressed, and I didn't really know what was going on with me. I had issues that needed to be dealt with. I had never really been depressed like that. I didn't even know what it was. I just found myself in a really bad space." John focused his energy on songwriting to help him through this difficult time, but as he told us, you're never really in the clear from depression. See how his story continues in our interview with John Wozniak.
