• Faithfull was a homeless, anorexic heroin junkie when producer Mike Leander tracked her down on the streets of Soho in London in 1971 and tried to help her revive her career with the album Rich Kid Blues. Unfortunately, the album was shelved until 1985, but it did spur Faithfull to keep recording and by the end of the decade she released the country record Dreamin' My Dreams and her critically acclaimed comeback album Broken English.
