  • Also known as the less radio-friendly "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf----r," this synth-pop track finds Adam Levine singing about a hot self-obsessed society girl, who is stealing his heart. The song was premiered on The Voice on May 19, 2015 and released for radio airplay the same day to coincide with the reissue of the band's V album.
  • The song was co-penned and produced by Shellback. The Swedish producer is a frequent collaborator with hitmaker Max Martin and has worked with Pink, Taylor Swift and Adam Lambert in the past. Shellback and Maroon 5 previously partnered for the band's chart-topping hits "Moves Like Jagger" and "One More Night."
  • The music video was filmed during a live concert at the Wembley Arena on May 28, 2015. It was directed by Levine with photographer Travis Schneider. The clip shows frontman Adam Levine getting ready to perform backstage before joining the rest of the band.

At one stage there is a scene where it shows Levine's backside fully naked. According an Instagram post, by the singer there's a message behind all of this booty business. "F--k censorship," it reads, across a picture of the singer's exposed rear.
