  • York, who is a Canadian singer/songwriter, told us about this track: "If you've seen the movie War Dance, you'll really connect with this tune. The movie really hit home for me. The fact that we let children become soldiers of wars they have nothing to do with is unbearable. This move shows how music can give a glimmer of hope in even the most hopeless of situation."
  • Regarding his songwriting process, York writes: "Music first - always. There's something about the mood of a melody that can help me shape the lyrics better as opposed to if I write lyrics first. I know Serena Ryder does it the same way... I write the music and then sing nonsense over top of it until I can lock down the melody. Lyrics get fit in after that. It's probably not the best way, but it's my way and it works for me. ;-)"
