Songfacts®:

  • This song is about a game of Russian Roulette and how the madness of it is what draws in the player, even though a fear of death is very real. Satan is choosing his next victim in this deadly game.
  • This album has some other tracks influenced by Satanic rituals or the occult, notably "Bad Omen," "The Conjuring," and "Good Mourning/Black Friday."
  • Fittingly, this is the last song on the album. All of the original tracks on Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? were written by Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine.

  • Luke from Manchester, EnglandRussian Roulette isn't satanic or occoult... It's alcohol fuelled, usually Vodka.
  • Paul from California, SdMy favorite song on Peace Sells. I love the structure. How all three verses are sung before the main solo starts. Also, the begining is awesome, with the electric/acoustic guitar countering the electric guitar, and bass guitar, and the little bass fillers. Dave was and still is a freaking genius.
