Songfacts®:

  • This was the second single from American contemporary Christian band MercyMe's sixth studio album, All That Is Within Me. The song was penned by guitarist Barry Graul, vocalist Bart Milliard and singer-songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman.
  • Graul told CCM Magazine about the track: "This was the last song written for the record, and has one of our favorite string arrangements. It is the result of an iChat between myself, Bart and one of my musical heroes and friends, Steven Curtis Chapman. When I told him about our rush for new material, Steven shared a song idea he'd been unable to complete himself. In no time, it seemed, we coupled its creativity with the concept and had a huge worship anthem. It is a perfect marriage of verse and chorus calling us all to recognize the God of creation and the saving grace of Jesus and that one day, we will ALL fall on our knees to worship."
