Vocalist Andrew VanWyngarden told NME: "It incorporates some of the feelings that we experienced with the first two albums."
  • The child vocals were provided by Trevor, the son of Cool Little Music Shop's owner at Fredonia, New York where MGMT purchase some of their instruments.
