Songfacts®:

  • This dreamy, five-minute-long trip into psychedelia was premiered by MGMT on March 30, 2013 at the Festival Estereo Picnica show in Bogotá, Colombia. It was initially released on April 20, 2013 as a limited-edition cassette single for the Record Store Day campaign before being presented to the world as a free stream in promotion of their third eponymous album. Vocalist Andrew VanWyngarden told NME: "It incorporates some of the feelings that we experienced with the first two albums."
  • The child vocals were provided by Trevor, the son of Cool Little Music Shop's owner at Fredonia, New York where MGMT purchase some of their instruments.
