Songfacts®:

  • This David Foster, Al Jarreau and Jay Graydon penned song is one of four original tracks on To Be Loved. It finds Bublé duetting with his fellow Vancouver native Bryan Adams. He explained to Billboard magazine how the collaboration came about. "Aside from being the first record I bought when I was 8 or 9 years old, he's been signed with my manager [Bruce Allen] who's been managing him since he was 17 years old," said Bublé. "So it just made a lot of common sense. But it was a big deal for me, knowing this Vancouver guy, this guy from my town who had made it. I'm a huge fan of his songwriting, huge fan of his voice and I've gotten to be friend with him so I've always been looking for an excuse to work with him."
