    "The inspiration for 'Bad Things' came from a feeling of finding yourself repeatedly stuck in the same kind of situation," he said. "It's a tiring, going-around-in-circles-tragedy. In the end it's always up to you to find the way out, but this song is a shout out to that person who's always there whilst you work it out."
  • The song features BRITs Critics' Choice nominee Izu Bizu. The Milky Chance duo first met the British singer at a festival and struck up a friendship before putting the track together.
  • The video finds the Milky Chance pair strolling down a street at night, contrasted with footage of Izzy Bizu walking the same path the next morning.
