Songfacts®:

  • Here, Birmingham MC Mist collaborates with West London rapper Fredo. The two previously worked together on the 2019 UK Top 10 single "So High." They dropped the track on April 28, 2020.
  • Steel Banglez's production samples MK's mid-1990s deep house remix of The Nightcrawlers' "Push the Feeling On." Said Mist: "House/Garage is my come-up and Banglez is a scientist. He played me the beat a few months ago, and the rest is history. Instant energy."
  • A day after the song's release, AJ Tracey, MoStack, and producers The Elements dropped "Dinner Guest," borrowing from the same Nightcrawlers song. The four artists and two producers regularly collaborate in various guises. For instance, the first time AJ Tracey, MoStack and The Elements worked together was on the Steel Banglez single "Fashion Week." Our guess is that the two similar sounding songs are a friendly competition between the acts.
