Songfacts®:

  • Marc Kinchen is an American DJ, record producer and remixer whose stage name is MK. This song became his second UK Top 20 hit under his name following the Route 94 remix of his track "Always," which peaked at #12.

Kinchen also has had success as a remixer, most notably for the iconic revamp of the Nightcrawlers' record "Push the Feeling On," which was an international hit in the mid 1990s. A decade and a half later, it was as the basis of Pitbull's global hit record "Hotel Room Service." In addition, Kinchen's remix of Storm Queen's "Look Right Through" topped the UK Singles Chart in 2013.
  • London singer-songwriter Carla Munroe supplied the uncredited vocals. It finds her singing of unrequited love as she wonders why her crush shows no interest back. "It's something everyone can relate to," said MK to AOL. "Everyone had a friend, girlfriend, boyfriend or something when they were 17."
