The New York born Arthur Kent was an accomplished pianist by the age of 10. The song has been recorded by a number of artists, with Morecambe & Wise's version being the most notable.
  • Eric Morecambe (1926-84) and Ernie Wise (1925-99) were at one time the biggest names in British comedy. Although they were basically stand up comics, their talents extended to dancing, acting - including a number of films - and recording.
