  • This was written by Arthur Kent and Sylvia Dee. Sylvia Dee was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1914; her credits include songs for Nat King Cole and Elvis Presley. The New York born Arthur Kent was an accomplished pianist by the age of 10. The song has been recorded by a number of artists, with Morecambe & Wise's version being the most notable.
  • Eric Morecambe (1926-84) and Ernie Wise (1925-99) were at one time the biggest names in British comedy. Although they were basically stand up comics, their talents extended to dancing, acting - including a number of films - and recording. "Bring Me Sunshine" was their signature tune which they performed or was played by the orchestra at the end of their comedy show. >>
