Songfacts®:

  • "Kiss Her In Front Of You" is a fiery, revenge-driven country-trap song where Morgan Wallen is eager to flaunt his new relationship in front of his former lover, hoping to inflict the same pain she caused him.
  • The storyline centers on Wallen confronting an ex in the bar she frequents. She'd dumped him abruptly, and while he was busy pouring whiskey into his wounds, she was already moving on. Now his ex wants another chance, but Wallen has found someone new and he's going to make out with her while she watches from across the room. The song is unapologetically spiteful, with Wallen relishing the chance to "ruin your favorite spot" and act as if he doesn't know his former romantic partner when they cross paths.
  • John Byron, Jaxson Free, Ashley Gorley, Taylor Phillips and Charlie Handsome wrote "Kiss Her In Front Of You." It's one of the outside cuts on I'm The Problem - Wallen chose to record it because of its strong narrative. Its channeling of anger and heartbreak into a vengeful statement contrasts with the more introspective tracks on the album.
  • Joey Moi, Charlie Handsome and Jacob Durrett produced the track. The trio cranked up the trap beats, resulting in a track that hisses and spits with rage and occasionally kicks over furniture.
  • Moi, Handsome and Durrett produced the entire I'm The Problem album between them, but this is the only one out of the 37 tracks where all three are listed as producers.
