Songfacts®:

  • If there is one thing most musicologists wouldn't associate with Motörhead, it's acoustic guitar. Another thing is philosophy. This solo composition by frontman Lemmy has both, and piano. In a 1992 interview for The Raw And Uncut, the off-camera interviewer sounded genuinely amazed the band could produce a ballad like this, but Lemmy couldn't understand why.

This introspective number is one with which most people of a certain age - women as well as men - will identify, if they are honest, painful though that honesty may be.
  • "I Ain't No Nice Guy" is the 5th track on the 1992 March Ör Die album. Running to 4 minutes 18 seconds, it features guest appearances from Ozzy Osbourne and Slash. >>>
