"The idea for this song came to me while I was moving out of my house in New Orleans a few years back," he recalled. "I often wonder if this song was subconsciously about that. Leaving a place I didn't want to, but had to. Either way, once we got this song on its feet, we finally had uncovered the foundation of how we wanted the whole album to sound."
