Songfacts®:

  • This song features singer-songwriter Gabrielle, who is best known for her UK chart-topping singles "Dreams" and "Rise." Naughty Boy told Digital Spy how the collaboration came about: "I was just listening to Magic FM one day, he said, "and the song 'Out of Reach' was on, and I just thought her voice is so unique. It's not technically the best voice, but it stands on its own. It's incredible."

"I had this song 'Hollywood' that I had written with Emeli Sandé," he continued, "and I nearly asked Shirley Bassey for the epicness, but then I thought that might be too much. Then my friend was like, 'Why don't you reach out to Gabrielle?' I didn't think she'd want to get involved, but I got in touch and she was up for it. She doesn't usually record songs she hasn't co-written, so it was nice for her to do it and be in to it."
