Songfacts®:

  • This party anthem is Americana rapper/singer Nelly's first single from his sixth studio album.
  • The track also features Diddy and sampled vocals from Notorious B.I.G's 1994 track "Everyday Struggle."
  • Nelly told MTV News how he got Diddy's blessing to use B.I.G.'s lines as the song's hook. "I did this beat with my man Don Vito and it had this Biggie sample in it, and when I heard it, I was like, whoa," said the "Hot In Herre" singer. "It was bananas. I let Puff hear the song. I told him, 'I got something that I think you're gonna love, and I think we can smash it out together.' And he was like, 'Let me hear it.' I played it for him and he went crazy. We put it together and it came out crazy. I feel real honored to be on a B.I. sample."
Nelly previously contributed to Biggie's posthumous album Duets: The Final Chapter on the hit single "Nasty Girl."
