Songfacts®:

  • In July 2023, Call Of Duty celebrated the world of hip-hop in their new season of Modern Warfare II by introducing Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage avatars. Inspired, Minaj spat out her rhymes for this song in five minutes. The Queen of Rap throws flexes and tosses threats like confetti at someone she thinks is a snitch.
  • DJ Smallz 732's production takes cues from the Jersey House club movement, chopping Danish pop duo Junior Senior's 2002 dance jam "Move Your Feet" into a groovy banger.
  • After originally writing "Everybody" for Call Of Duty, Minaj decided to keep it for her Pink Friday 2 album, but wondered if it vibed with the other tracks. As Lil Uzi Vert had already dipped toes in Jersey House with "Just Wanna Rock," she thought maybe Uzi could drop a verse, but was worried it might be old news for them. Instead, Uzi wanted to revisit the Jersey Club lane and sent Minaj some rhymes that re-used some lines from "Just Wanna Rock."
  • This is Minaj's third collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, following her jumping on the remix for Uzi's 2017 track "The Way Life Goes" and her guest verse for their 2023 single "Endless Fashion."
  • "Everybody" went viral on TikTok, with fans creating various dances and clips to the banging tune.
