Songfacts®:

  • Many of the lyrics that Nicole Scherzinger wrote for her Big Fat Lie album were with her on-off romance with motor racing driver Lewis Hamilton in mind. This song finds her singing:

At night all I think about is you, on that high, this is what you do
Rock with steady, sweet baby, come down like confetti
Look at what you do, electric blue
I need you, you need me
It's amazing what we could be

"Sometimes love makes you feel amazing," she told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. "It makes you feel like 'I need you and you need me.'"
  • The song features a contribution from T.I. Nicole Scherzinger and the Atlanta rapper previously collaborated on "Whatever U Like," from Scherzinger's aborted studio album. The project was scrapped after she left her long-time label, Interscope Records and signed with RCA.

Co-producer The-Dream also makes an appearance murmuring a few words on the chorus.
