  • Jane from Doyareallyneedtoknow, Australiatarja's vocals are what made Nightwish unique. Sure, Anette is a good singer but now the band's over all sound is completely different.
  • Mike from Evansville, InThe band doesn't sound right with Anette's vocals. To me, Tarja is what made Nightwish unique. Now they sound much more mediocre. When do you ever hear a hard metal band with opera vocals? Never. Anette's vocals are awesome, don't get me wrong. But nothing like Tarja. The band will never be as great as they used to be.

    I've listened to the Dark Passion Play album so many times now, and I'm starting to like Anette's voice more than Tarja's.
    Don't ge me wrong, I became a fan of Nightwish because of Tarja's voice but I think that the guys in the band couldn't have made a better choice about her replacement.
    I know that a lot of die hard fans won't agree with me on this one, but I'm also curious to see what reactions I will get ...
