Songfacts®:

  • The title track of Nina Nesbitt's second EP, "The Apple Tree" was produced by Jake Gosling, who has also worked with Ed Sheeran and One Direction. Jake Gosling's recording facility, Sticky Studios, was built in an apple orchard in rural Surrey, and Nesbitt was gazing one day out of the window into the orchard. The view inspired the title of The Apple Tree.

"It was a natural progression," Gosling told Q magazine. "That led to Adam and Eve and the relationship with love."
