  • The song's opening line, "I was looking for Harvest, but I found Silver & Gold" finds vocalist and lyricist Charlie Fink remembering back to when he was 11 and just beginning to get interested in music. He explained to The Independent the lyric, "is about finding Neil Young records in the library. You don't choose what you find, you find something and you learn to love it."

    Harvest is Young's 1972 album and also his most popular, containing the #1 hit "Heart Of Gold." Silver & Gold is Young's 2000 release.
