Songfacts®:

  • This song is about a drunken hook-up whereby Noah Cyrus finds someone with whom she wants to "stay together for the night."
  • The track brought back memories for Cyrus' mother. "My mom told me it reminds her of when she went to prom. Then after prom, she went out with her friends and had so much fun," Cyrus told MTV correspondent Gaby Wilson.

"I think it's cool that it'll bring memories back for people, and then also it will help young people create new memories," she added. "It makes me think of when I snuck out of my house for the very first time and was like, 'All right, I'm not coming home, I'm going to go sneak out with my friends and go have fun.'"
  • Cyrus co-wrote the song with Emily Warren and Britt Burton. Warren is a big fan of the young singer. She told BreathHeavy.com:

"I so intensely believe in her... she's so sick. Her voice... I was in a meeting with her A&R who played me one of the ballads that they have and I started crying in the meeting, which has never happened to me before. Her voice just has so much emotion in it; it's incredible."
