  • Norah Jones became a mom for the first time in February 2014, when she gave birth to a son. She had a second child with her musician husband two years later. Jones told Rolling Stone that though she relates this song about discovering life-altering love to her children, she actually started it "before I had kids."

"I was thinking about my husband," Jones added, "but I finished it after I had my son."
  • Asked by Rolling Stone if becoming a mother has changed her songwriting, Jones replied:

"I don't feel being a mom has changed anything musically for me, but it changes how I hear certain love songs. Some songs I've known my whole life - then you have a kid and it's like, 'Oh! That's about this! Or maybe it's not, but it is for me, now.'"
