  • "I just feel like if you know somebody who you want to pick up, play 'em the damn song!" exclaims Marc Roberge about this track - his favorite. "I think we all know somebody – I know a few people that do not believe in themselves, period. They have all this potential, amazing smiles, great people, but they just don't believe in themselves, and it just brings them down. And it wears them down," says the O.A.R. lead singer. "'On My Way' is a song about if you had the opportunity to sit with that person, and they weren't allowed to talk, and you just had four minutes to say what you thought, hopefully it would fix everything. So that's what that song's about. And I love it. I just love playing it live. I don't know why, it's like my favorite song. I wrote it with Matt Nathanson and Mark Weinburg, who's another friend. And there's something about that song."

Because he feels this song contains such a strong and empowering message, Marc says he puts it on every set list at live shows. "It'll make it most of the time. But we change the set list based on the crowd a lot, and if they're not ready for a really slow song, we'll cancel it." (Check out our full interview with Marc Roberge.)
