  • While self-isolating during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, Noel Gallagher was killing time by rummaging through some of his storage boxes. As he delved through "the hundreds of faceless unmarked CDs" inside, the rocker stumbled across an old demo had long been lost.

Gallagher told fans on social media that the only other recording of the song was done during an April 2009 soundcheck in Hong Kong. This was during Oasis' final Dig Out Your Soul Tour, four months before Noel quit the band after falling out with Liam in Paris. "I'm not sure whether the soundcheck version pre-dates the demo as there's no date on the CD," he said.

Gallagher so excited about his rediscovery of the track, he released it to the public on April 30, 2020. "I know some of you love this tune so we thought we'd put it 'out there' for you to enjoy/argue over," the Oasis songwriter said.
  • A laid-back, acoustic ballad, the song finds Gallagher addressing a loved one. The Oasis rocker is about to go on tour and he's encouraging her to stay upbeat while they're "whole words apart."
  • It is notable that Oasis' main vocalist Liam Gallagher does not feature on the track. He was less than enthused about the song. "Well there's something missing in this god almighty stew," the singer tweeted, "and it's your brother your brother don't forget your brother."

Liam added that any old Oasis demos that don't feature him on vocals or Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs on guitar are worthless.
