Songfacts®:

  • Harry Styles co-wrote this folksy Mumford & Sons influenced track with Savan Kotecha and Carl Falk. Kotecha and Falk, together with Rami Yacoub, penned many of One Direction's early hits including "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Live While We're Young," but this was the only song they contributed to on Midnight Memories.
  • Speaking to E! News, Harry said that he drew inspiration from his own life when penning lyrics for Midnight Memories. "When you're writing songs, it's impossible to not draw on personal experiences, whether it be, you know, traveling or girls or anything," he admitted. "That's the amazing thing about music, there's a song for every emotion. Can you imagine a world with no music? It would suck."
