Songfacts®:

  • "Talk Sick" is a play on the word "toxic," which describes the relationship in this song. Lead singer Jay Gordon was often inspired by the social scene in Los Angeles, where Orgy formed. There always seems to be an ulterior motive in any interpersonal encounter, which can indeed be toxic.
  • This was the title track to Orgy's 2015 EP, their first with their new lineup of Gordon, Carlton Bost, Nic Speck, Creighton Emrick and Bobby Amaro. Orgy dissolved in 2005 after releasing three albums that established them as big players on the industrial and goth music scenes. When Gordon decided to restart Orgy, he did it without any of the members from those first albums, starting fresh with a new lineup. The original members weren't happy about it but were gracious.
