Songfacts®:

  • Ozzy's bass player Bob Daisley wrote the lyric to this song, which is about a dislike of pornographic movies. Daisley got the idea after going to an adult film with Ozzy and their guitarist Randy Rhoads. Randy called it a "bone movie," which is a phrase Bob had never heard before, so he made it that basis for the song.
  • "Bodge" is British slang for breasts, hence the line "X-rated demon that lives in my head, hungry for bodge and he wants to be fed."
  • This is the only track on the Blizzard of Ozz album co-written by drummer Lee Kerslake. After Ozzy left Black Sabbath, he formed a band called Blizzard of Ozz with Bob Daisley and Randy Rhoads. They wrote most of the songs for the album before they had a drummer, but this one was composed after they selected Kerslake. The band became a solo project when the album was released and Ozzy Osbourne's name was printed on the cover in big letters next to a picture of the singer.

  • Jc from Medford, Long Island NyI LUV LUV LOVE this song! As I do the ENTIRE Blizzard of Ozz album! Ozzy, I have conflicting thoughts on whether you should've kept that as the name of your band or not. If you did it, would you have become as well-known as you are today? Sometimes, it boggles my mind...

  • Captain Midnight from Nashvillesimply, "BODGE"
  • Jodie from XxIt's not about how Ozzy can't stop watching porn at all. Where the hell do you people come up with this s--t? It's about what's stated above, in the first paragraph. Not about Ozzy at all. Another one written by Bob Daisley.
  • Josh from Detroit, Mi"Bone movies" was a term Randy and his friends used. The lyrics were written by Bob Daisley, not Ozzy.
  • Bonnie from Shreveport, LaI would just like to comment that the song is not necessarily about "how Ozzy can't stop watching porno". Most of Ozzy's songs are in first person, but it doesn't mean that they are necessarily about him, or his opinion. It is just a point of view, or subject he wants to call attention to. He introduces "characters" for that matter. For instance, he sings Mr. Tinkertrain. Does this mean that Ozzy is a child molestor? Hardly.
  • Mike from Warwick, RiI had no idea what this song was about but I knew I loved it..."silver screen, such a disgrace, I couldn't look her straight in the face".....makes sense that its about porn and ones addition to it.
  • Ravyn from Hell, NyErm, its just about an addiction to 'em. Not about his or anyone elses. just an addiction.

    "Inspiration thats blue and uncut.."
lets take a guess here, people :)
  • Liam from Campbell River, CanadaThe song is about how Ozzy can't stop watching porno, as in he wants to quit, but just can't.
  • Mariah from Miami, FlOzzy doesn't like pornos? But, he was watching one on an episode of the Osbournes.
