  • In an interview with LiveDaily the interviewer commented to frontman Jacoby Shaddix that this song is raunchy. The Papa Roach singer responded: "It's definitely a little raunchy. It's for the brass poles. I want that one to be played in the strip clubs. It would be cool, too, for that one to have a remix for the dance clubs, too. It's got a little bit of a club romp to it. You can dance to it. It's got a little bit of a party vibe, which I think is fun for this record. I've never written lyrics like that - filthy, nasty, fishhook-type lyrics. It's kind of breaking down that wall inside my heart and being able to just let the inner pervert shine. It's fun. I mean, we're sexual beings. That's just it. It's a big part of my life."
  • Jacoby Shaddix told the Salute This! blog how a rather sinister conversation with a friend lead to him writing the song: "'I Almost Told You That I Loved You,' I was sitting in our studio writing the album and I'm really good friends with this guy Matt Zane, he's a porno producer and director. He was telling me about how he was trying out one of his girls, he was f--king her, and he was like, 'Jacoby, I have to tell you this p--sy was so good I almost told her I loved her!' And me and my producer looked at each other and said, 'Now that's a f--king song!'"
