Songfacts®:

  • Not to be confused with any earlier or later song of the same name, "Accidents Will Happen" was co-written by Norrie Paramor and Bob Barratt, recorded by Patsy Ann Noble, and used in the 1963 film Live It Up! which was released in the USA as Sing And Swing. Noble performs the song in the film.
  • Unashamedly commercial, albeit with some awkward phrasing, "Accidents Will Happen" was released as a single backed by "He Tells Me With His Eyes." It runs to around 2 minutes 24 seconds.

The song's message: you may fall in love when you least expect it. >>>
