  • Evans wrote this with Al Byron, who he wrote "Roses Are Red (My Love)" with a few years later. Says Evans, "The big thing that made it a hit was there's a laugh in it: 'A ha ha-ppy go...' and then I laugh like an idiot in the bridge. I just laugh and laugh and laugh. It was the fourth song on a 4-song session, we did 4 songs in 3 hours. I mean, you don't do anything in three hours anymore. The star song on that session was a song called 'Fish In The Ocean,' which featured a bubbling sound made by someone blowing bubbles. We did 2 takes, and it was a hit."
  • This quirky song about a guy who is so untroubled that he seems slightly insane was used in the 1998 movie Pecker and also a 2004 episode of the TV show Scrubs.
