    Weller explained to NME: "That was me reconnecting with my roots. I'd had some wilderness years after The Style Council, two years of doing nothing, so I spent a lot of time in contemplation. I went back to my hometown to get in touch with my roots and I just rediscovered all the music that I'd forgotten and that was a good time for me to do that."
