  • Set against a backdrop of trap and drill grooves, PinkPantheress delivers a heartfelt ode to her man, exuding unwavering loyalty and affection. She paints their love like a waterfall – powerful and beautiful, a force of nature.
  • Central Cee jumps in with his verse, spitting truths about the ups and downs of his relationship. His cheating created a storm, testing their connection.

The song marks the first official collaboration between the two artists. However, Central Cee's 2021 hood love song "Obsessed With You" samples "Just For Me" by PinkPantheress.
  • Central Cee raps about the tension between his lifestyle as a "trap boy" and his lover's desire for a more conventional relationship.

I'm a trap boy and she like good yutes
If I 'member correctly, I'm not her type

In "Obsessed With You," Central Cee echoes that doubt, questioning if his potential match really fits into his world.

    I hope a trap boy's your type
    'Cause I don't have a nine-to-five
  • A big fan of K-Pop, PinkPantheress interpolates "Sleep Talk," a track off South Korean singer/rapper Zion.T's EP ZZZ. She also samples Spandau Ballet's 1983 hit "Gold."
  • PinkPantheress produced "Nice To Meet You" with New York producer Cash Cobain (Drake's "Calling For You," Central Cee's "Daily Duppy").
  • In a brief promo video, PinkPantheress shows how she made "Nice To Meet You" on her MacBook Pro with Logic Pro. She started with a sample from the beginning of "Gold," which she chopped and looped. Then she added the melody, and after composing it on the piano roll, she typed the words on Logic Pro's note pad. "We only stick to one verse," she said. "I don't do second verses - that's ridiculous."

Cash Cobain then used FL Studio to create some of the percussion sounds.
  • PinkPantheress first teased the song on her alternate TikTok account @burtsbeessavedmylife on April 27, 2023 with the caption "whos excited for the barbie move ??? #fyp #iam #music interpolation- zion t: sleep talk." She released it as the fourth single from her debut album, Heaven Knows, on November 10, 2023.
  • Charlotte Rutherford (Lil Nas X, Nicki Minaj) directed the video. It was choreographed by Seun Latukolan, who has also worked with Jungle and Jungkook.

The video starts with a guy jotting down a love letter before tossing the dove-shaped note into the air, where off it flies above London. PinkPantheress then steps in, becoming the voice of the guy's inner musings. Latukolan's choreography brings the doodles to life, and the screen lights up with '00s-inspired graphics.
