Songfacts®:

  • The first single from Pitbull's Globilization album is a feel-good carnival-esque track. "Lot of craziness going on in the world right now, so lets escape it for 3:55," said the rapper before dropping the tune.
  • The song features a vocal contribution by John Ryan. The singer-songwriter is best known for co-penning several of One Direction's hit tunes, including "Best Song Ever," "Story of My Life" and "You & I."
  • The song is a collaboration with Ricky Reed, who also produced Jason DeRulo's "Wiggle." It came about while the pair were enjoying the titular cinnamon-flavoured whisky-based liqueur on a beach house roof. Reed told Billboard magazine it's a, "quasi ode to day drinking."
