Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Pink reflecting on a relationship turned sour; she fears that the person she loves will leave her.

If you're just some habit that I gotta break
I can clear my system in 90 days
You're holdin' my heart, mmm, whatcha say?
    Just let me down slowly

According to a study published in the Journal of Positive Psychology, it takes an average of 90 days to get over a breakup.
  • The song is a collaboration with the LA-based singer/songwriter Wrabel, who sings the part of Pink's partner. In the song, it's clear he also feels the growing space between them.
  • As well as recording his own material, Wrabel has also crafted emotional pop ballads for the likes of Kesha ("Woman") and The Backstreet Boys ("Don't Go Breaking My Heart").
  • Pink explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she was inspired to work with Wrabel after watching his "The Village" video. "He is an independent artist, and his dream is to make an album, and I hope this is what does it for him," she said.
  • The video was shot by one of Pink's dancers, Remi Bakkar, while they were on tour in Portland, Oregon and Detroit. It stars the singer opposite her husband Carey Hart (Wrabel is absent from the clip). The family-oriented visual is about the challenges of life on the road. "It's shot just for fun, just because we wanted to, and I hope you love it," Pink said.

  • Yvonne Dyment from MichiganI Love the song! It is a very touching and to me heartfelt one for sure. You are an awesome performer, that is why I am looking forward to seeing you for the first time this August in Detroit. My two sisters saw you. My youngest sister passed on due to suicide. She left her two wonderful boys to be cared for by my other sister who is doing a terrific job.The boys made the honer roll and the oldest graduated with honors. So in conclusion Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making great memories for so many people!!!
