• Prima Donna were a UK vocal group consisting of June Robbins, Kate Robbins, Sally-Ann Triplet, Danny Finn Alan Coates and Lance Aston. They were assembled for the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest, where they were beaten by Johnny Logan of Ireland's entry, "What's Another Year." Triplett later became a member of Bardo, another of Britain's Eurovision Song Contest entrants. Lance Aston was the brother of Jay Aston, who performed with Bucks Fizz, the following year's contest winners. June and Kate Robbins were sisters and second cousins of Paul McCartney. The following year, as part of the storyline in the ITV soap Crossroads, Kate Robbins recorded a single in the Motel's studio called "More Than in Love" which reached #2 in the UK charts.
• Kate Robbins went on to have a successful career as an actress, comedienne and impressionist. She recalled to the Radio Times June 27th-July 3rd 2009 her time with Prima Donna: "I was a decent singer, so came from Liverpool to London to seek my fortune. My first job was singing on a Rosemary Clooney album and I got £300. That's about £3,000 today! I started throwing myself into the whole gigging thing and I eventually met ('70s singer) Stephanie De Sykes, who was putting together a group for Eurovision. I was asked to be in it and Prima Donna came third, which wasn't bad. After the competition, the group disappeared, but the experience definitely opened some doors."
