Songfacts®:

  • This upbeat Bachata track with hints of Country finds Prince Royce singing of a complicated romance. The song title translates into English as "Give You a Kiss."
  • The song premiered on Univision's Premios Juventud telecast in July 2013 and became Prince Royce's fourth Billboard Latin #1 as well as his debut Hot 100 entry.
  • Prince Royce recorded a Portuguese version of the song called "Te Dar Um Beijo" with Brazilian star Michel Telo. It was Telo who reached out to Royce's camp as he wanted to record "Darte un Beso" in his native language and the bachata singer-songwriter suggested they did it together.
