Songfacts®:

  • In this song Green spits rhymes with aggression about what it's like being young in East London, re-imagining his home locality as a jungle.
  • This won Best Dancefloor Filler at the 2011 Shockwaves NME Awards. Speaking to NME after the ceremony, Green said the song, "was the track I pushed forward to be released. We did a video that we knew wasn't gonna get on TV, we put a single out that we didn't think was gonna get on radio, and it was A-listed on Radio 1 over Christmas. To get that kind of support for that kind of record really shows the changing times."
  • The song features R&B vocalist Maverick Sabre, who was born in Green's hometown of Hackney, London and bought up in Ireland. He moved back to London to follow his pursuit of a musical career and for a time shared a flat with Plan B. Sabre released his debut mixtape, The Travelling Man on November 25, 2010, followed by his debut single, "Look What I Done" on February 28, 2011.
  • The music video was shot in Hackney and used locals rather than actors.
